My name is Paul Wood, I am the founder of P.G Wood Truck and Digger Hire which I have owned and operated for over 10 years. I offer digger operating services to the Nelson/ Tasman region. As the founder of the business, I take great pride in all contracting jobs I have been a part of. I work with my clients to achieve high quality results and a service that exceeds expectations.

I have had many years experience as a digger operator as well as an extensive background in landscaping, property development and outdoor renovation. My goal is to continue to expand and improve my services to the Nelson and Tasman region, and make my customers happy with their property goals.

I bring all the tools and machinery with me (at no additional cost to you for multi use of equipment). And have a variety of tools for the job including different augers, scop buckets, concrete cutter, water blasters, compactors, landscaping equipment and more.

Free Inspection and Quoting
As the owner of the company, I want to ensure customer satisfaction is our priority. Prior to starting any work, I will happily inspect the job at task to ensure a fair estimate of cost for the job. I want to work with you, the client, to ensure we stick to the budget set in mind. Inspection and quotation of the job is free of charge. There is no obligation to follow through, and no cost to you!

Pricing
P G Wood Truck and Digger Hire aims to ensure achievable prices for all contracting work available. Please note there is a minimum 4 hour fee for all jobs (within reason). And travel cost if outside of a 30km radius. The prices are as follows:

- $95/hr (excluding GST) for excavator and operator services
- $120/hr (excluding GST) for excavator, operator and tipper truck services
